Ancient Egyptian jar from Diospolis Parva dated 1773 – 1550 BC Jar, possibly anhydrite. Rises outwards from a circular base to the shoulder of the vessel, and then narrows sharply to the circular mouth. Mottled blue and white stone with brown patches.
