Ancient Egyptian jar from Diospolis Parva dated 5300 – 3000 BC

Small grey and black limestone jar, with lug handles. The vase rises from a small circular base, to the shoulders where the lug handles are, and then narrows to the rim. The rim was circular and projecting, but is now badly chipped. Surface pitting. Traces of caked sand or mud on inside of vessel. Patch of modern glue on the base, with black adhering. B 3..? very faintly written in modern ink on the side of the vase.
