Ancient Egyptian jar from El Hammamiya dated 2181 – 2160 BC

Storage jar of orange red ware with rounded base. Sphericla body, narrowing to a short, flared neck woth a rounded rim. On lower half of body the clay has been scraped when wet producing a rougher surface.
