Ancient Egyptian jar from Esna dated 2055 – 1773 BC A red pottery jar, ovaloid with a rounded base and a flaring neck which has a straight flat rim. There are two incised lines around the bottom of the neck. A few sherds have been put back together to form the completed jar.
