Ancient Egyptian jar from Girza dated 3500 – 3200 BC Red pottery jar with an ovaloid body with a slightly flat base. Horizontal barrel lug handle on either side. Modelled rim. Exterior covered with self slip, then red decoration applied with brush. Decorated with spirals all over body.
