Ancient Egyptian jar from Naqada or Deir el Ballas dated 5300 – 3000 BC A red pottery jar, ovaloid with a flat base and a flat rounded rim. Most of the body is red, the top of the body and rim are black. Fourteen sherds have been put back together to form the jar.
