Ancient Egyptian jar sealing from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Roughly circular white plaster jar sealing, with a domed top and a flat base carrying an impression of a twisted cloth borderd by two straight edges of a vessel. Into one of the sides, is a curved impression, perhaps caused by rope, being tied around it. Into the top of the plaster has been pressed a seal bearing Nefertiti’s cartouche, see below. Seal impression is very faint.
