Ancient Egyptian kohl pot from Hierakleopolis dated 2055 – 1650 BC

Small Egyptian Alabaster kohl pot. Rises outwards from a slightly projecting circular base to the shoulder of the vessel, and then narrows to the neck. From the neck projects a large circular rim, about a quarter of which is missing. Little bit of green powder on the inside of the pot which is possibly Malachite.
