Ancient Egyptian kohl stick from Abydos dated 1479 – 1425 BC

Kohl stick of polished haematite in the form of a curved human arm, ending in a hand with an incised bracelet at the wrist. The hand end was probably used as a spatula for mixing the cosmetic before applying it with the rounded shoulder end.
