Ancient Egyptian lamp from Memphis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Circular orange and brown pottery oil lamp, with a ring base and lug on one side of the reservoir. There is a central hole ringed by a narrow circular impression in the top of the reservoir and a projecting spout. Part of the once brown or black glaze Chips to the spout. 1911 written in pencil on the base.
