Ancient Egyptian leather fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1069 BC One of fifteen leather fragments. Leather is very dry and brittle. Roughly oblong piece with a row of irregular leather stitching along one edge, and a slight protrusion from the edge with a hole through it.
