Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Hawara or Illahun dated AD 395 – 642

Linen woven braid, dark pink dyed linen with a cream stripe along each selvedge.
Plain woven with two threads per warp and weft. Single threaded undyed linen forms the stripe. There are six double warp threads and four double weft threads per centimetre.
