Ancient Egyptian linen fragments from Mostagedda dated 1773 – 1550 BC Fragments of linen, much folded and twisted with a close and very regular weave. The weft is of much finer yarn than the warp. The structure is well preserved but decomposed. Fibre type A, not well cleaned.
