Ancient Egyptian mace head from Abadiyeh and Diospolis Parva and Hu dated 5300 – 3000 BC

A disc shaped mace head, with a tapered hole through the centre to allow fixing to a shaft. The head is raised on one side in the centre, through which the hole passes, tapering out gradually towards the edges of the disc to produce an appearance when viewed from each side.
