Ancient Egyptian metal fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Strip of copper alloy, which has been cut out along the edges. At one end there is what appears to be a short section of another strip adherring to it, since an incised line divides this from the longer strip. Possibly intended to be a key, or it may be the wast remains of a piece from which strips were cut.
