Ancient Egyptian mirror handle from Abydos dated 1479 – 1425 BC

A plain wooden mirror handle, with a round base and a narrow circular stem widening towards top. There is a hole in the top in which the tang of mirror was set. There is decoration of four incised lines around stem just above the base.
