Hollow orange brown pottery hedgehog. Flat base, with four rounded feet, though it sits on its stomach. Snout and ears modelled at one end, and then regular rows of bumps across the entire curved back area. Appears to have a ball or equivalent in interior space, possibly used as a rattle. Two holes in one side, perhaps to mount the object in the early twentieth century. Traces of white plaster over the object, with a pink tinge visible on the base. ’29’ written in pencil on the base.
