Ancient Egyptian mould fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Limestone fragment, white, with two designs incised onto the upper surface. One is a ring with incised lines cut into its base at regular intervals, and with some form of zig zag design abutting its base which is partly broken off, and a channel connecting the ring to the edge of the block. The other design has a long channel connecting the edge of the block to an oval shape, the bottom is broken off, which has incised triangles in the base. Probably part of one half of a mould for metal earring pendants etc.
