Ancient Egyptian mould from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Roughly circular brown pottery mould for a faience jewellery element or inlay. Circular, domed impression, with a heart shaped impression deeper within it. The object pressed from it would have therefore had two levels to its surface. Surface may also been textured. Possibly a fruit was the intended result.
