Ancient Egyptian mould from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

A roughly circular pottery mould for a faience finger ring with a plain bezel. Broken on the upper face. White powder remains on the inside of the impression. Across the bezel an attempt has been made to remove it, leaving two rough diagonal gouges.
