Ancient Egyptian mould from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Rectangular pottery mould for an oval, possibly metal, plaque or amulet, with the figure of a bird engraved into the base of it. There is a channel carved to the left of the plaque to allow the molten metal to be poured in. Probably one of two halves of a mould. Maybe an amulet for a pectoral pendant.
