Ancient Egyptian mould from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC Roughly circular pottery mould for a faience corn flower, thistle shaped. Possibly a poppy seed head. Striations on the top fan, and what could be scales on the body. Traces of white powder in the impression.
