Ancient Egyptian mud sealing from Amarna dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Round, slightly domed piece of mud, probably used as a jar stopper, with a seal impression half visible on the flat side. Impression is of the top half of a cartouche, with the following signs: two ‘nfr’ signs side by side, and what could be ‘ir’ there are also signs outside the cartouche, along its vertical edge there are what looks like several ‘intestine’ signs (k3b, wdb). There are also what looks like string impressions across this surface.
Brown and grey in colour.
