Ancient Egyptian mummy wrapping of Thutmose III from Thebes dated 1479 – 1425 BC

Fragment of very fine linen, royal linen, part of reputed 40 yards of material taken by Emile Brugsch from the body of Tuthmosis III found in the Royal Cache near Deir el-Bahri, and originally placed in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Fragment later in possession of General Lord Abinger, then given to B.M.
