Pottery oil lamp with a circular reservoir, and remains of a projecting spout. Buff, with a red tinge, coloured pottery. Probably once a stem type lamp, with the closed reservoir raising to a narrow neck on top, but this is now broken off, and an irregular hole remains in the centre top. Behind this and opposite the spout may be the remains of a handle. Concentric circular striations on the base of the lamp possibly from manufacture. In modern black ink on the base of the lamp is written E.E.F.1904 and F.
