Ancient Egyptian oil lamp from Naukratis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Red pottery oil lamp. Open or dish shaped design. Open reservoir pinched together to form an open spout at one side. Has a raised disc shaped base. Broken off at two points around the edge. Naukratis is written in modern black ink on the base. There a patch of modern glue and paper on the base.
