Ancient Egyptian palette from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC Palette fragment. Triangular section of slate, with one edge rounded, another cut to a midpoint, and the last a broken edge. Two worked edges original to piece. Probably the corner of a rectangular slate palette. Some surface scratching.
