Ancient Egyptian papyrus from Oxyrhynchus Behnesa dated 30 BC – AD 395

Fragment of papyrus with thirty-eight lines of Greek text. Letter from a woman called Eutycheis, or in another part Ametrion, explaining that her arrival had been delayed by difficulties of transport and asking for a sum of money to be paid to the bearers of this letter, from whom the writer had borrowed.
