Ancient Egyptian rim sherd from Amarna dated 1550 – 1069 BC Rim sherd from a fine Egyptian alabaster vessel, perhaps a cup or small bowl. Creamy white in colour with aised edge to rim and projecting lip along the exterior of the sherd where the wall of the vessel turns inwards to create the base.
