Ancient Egyptian sandal fragment from Antinoe Antinoopolis dated AD 400 – 600

Possibly left foot sole, from a rope soled sandal, rounded heel and pointed tip. Hole just below tip for the attachment of the post and strap. Edges have fragments of leather adherring to them, possibly just edge trim, or may be part of a leather cover for top of the sole. Parts of the edges are frayed, and there is surface damage to the base.
