Ancient Egyptian scarab from Deir el Bahari dated 1479 – 1425 BC

A blue faience scarab, perforated through the length. Inscribed on base Mn-hpr-R’, Tuthmosis III. On the back the head, clypeus, plates, prothorax, elytra and nicks at the shoulders are shown. Legs raised and undercut.
