Ancient Egyptian Taweret amulet from Saqqara dated 664 – 332 BC

Standing figure of Taweret, a hippopotamus with arms by sides and hands, now missing, held out at front. Face slightly damaged. Wearing wig with long lapets. Breasts pendulous, stomach pronounced. Figure broken at thighs. With dorsal pillar with suspension loop.
