Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Antinoe dated AD 395 – 642

Fragment of yellow woollen cloth with tapestry woven ornament worked in blue, yellow, green and red wool and undyed flax. A floral device, with leaves on a yellow stem and base, on a blue ground within an oval, bordered with a line of undyed flax. It has a plain woven surround.
