Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Mosteggedda dated 30 BC – AD 395

One of two fragments of one long woollen tapestry woven band in coarse navy blue yarn with embroidered decoration of rosettes and linear designs in thick white thread. Wound in parallel bands around outer robe. Band woven from coarse blue yarn.
