Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642

A roundel, linen, tapestry woven in purple wool and undyed flax. A mounted huntsman with an animal, dog, below. The details of the harness are worked in fine flax thread.
There are 14 warps per centimetre and two threads per warp. Plain woven, small section on top right corner.
