Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642 A band of thick linen, tapestry woven in alternating devices of flowers and fruit, worked in red and blue wool and undyed flax. There are ten warps per centimetre and two threads per warp.
