Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642

A small roundel, linen, tapestry woven with quail in red and yellow wool, head turned round towards a circle in red and green. Border of dark purple wool.
There are 12 warps per centimetre. Single warps with an S twist. Possibly natural brown wool.
