Ancient Egyptian toy horse from El Hammamiya dated 30 BC – AD 395

One of two carved wooden heads of horses on pegs to fasten them to a main stick and pierced for attachment of reins. Part of hobby – horses, toys for children. The head is decorated with circles and the mane has been done using incised lines.
