Ancient Egyptian tunic fragment from Mostagedda dated 30 BC – AD 395

Eight fragments of brown woollen tunic sewn onto a large piece of linen, roughly where they would have been on the tunic. All but one has bands of yellow wool with a red floral pattern and wave border. Down one side of some fragments is selvedge and at the bottom there are cable edges. There are two fragments with decorative stitching in brown wool.
