Ancient Egyptian tunic fragment from Mosteggedda dated 30 BC – AD 395

Tapestry woven band 45mm wide. Red ground with alternating animal and plant designs in green, blue, yellow and red with a running wave border. On yellow woollen fabric with cable edge on one end and heavy selvedges on two sides.
