Ancient Egyptian vase from Faiyum dated 5300 – 4000 BC

A large cylindrical vase in red brown rough ware with a dark grey core, coarse clay and thick walls. It is hand made. It has a cylindrical body, rounded base and a straight flat rim. There is a crack near the base on one side.
