Ancient Egyptian wood fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Oblong strip of red and brown wood, curved slighty along its longitudinal axis. Possibly part of a handle from something. Perhaps originally painted red. Slightly chipped along one edge. Broken at both ends. There is a slight groove at both ends, which could be intentional.
