Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Karanis dated 30 BC – AD 395

A fragment of fine woollen cloth. The warps are yellow and the wefts are blue. There is a yellow stripe where the wefts have not gone across. At the bottom is a line of dark blue / purple.
