Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Karanis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Two fragments of thick woollen cloth made from mingled yarns green, red and yellow. It has been sewn to finely woven woollen cloth, a fragment of which, tapestry woven (colour yellow with two friezes of purple patterns), still adheres to one piece.
