Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Karanis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Coarse woollen fragment, yellow. Ridges formed by using very thick warps at regular intervals, drawn through to form small loops on the right side. Piece of coarse yellow fabric sewn to the back.
