Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Karanis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Several pieces of cloth, woollen.
1- Rectangular, tiny piece of textile divided int two parts: the one yellow, the other blue.
2- Yellow fragment with a decorative blue or green pattern (vegetal repetitive pattern between two lines).
3- A rectangular yellow fragment composed of two pieces sewn together, and sewn to a purple strip of textile with a yellow thread.
4- A brown tiny fragment in a small bag.
5- A rectangular and narrow, brown piece of textile in a small bag.
6- Several pieces of textile sewn together with wool and thick flax. Mostly yellow woollen textile, with fragments with red and blue stripes underneath.
