Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated 30 BC – AD 395

Two fragments of undyed and purple wool, 2 / 2 twill. The smaller fragment has a knot. The larger fragment has three layers, two undyed, one purple, which are sewn together.

Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
