Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated AD 550 – 1400

Strip of wool textile. A band of green and yellow pattern through the middle. Red either side with black pattern. Just visible is a portion of a band of yellow and brown pattern. Compound weave, wool, stripes, red & black, yellow & green, yellow and brown.

Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
