A modern shabti, possibly black coated brown pottery or stone. Mummiform figure, with arms folded over the chest, holding two flails. Facial features modelled and a wig, the lappets of which fall over the front of the shoulders. Cartouche of Tuthmosis III incised between the arms and horizontal bands of hieroglyphic text cover the front of the legs. Flat back with signs of scraping. Broken at the knee and rejoined in modern times. Two holes in the back for steel pins, early twentieth century display technique. Probably a fake.
