Modern Egyptian – after AD 1500 comb from Egypt dated AD 1900 – 1920

Undecorated double comb, carved from one piece of wood. With central plain grip, on one side of which are thick coarse teeth and on the other side of which are fine thin teeth. There are thick end pieces at either end of both toothed sections.
Similar to Roman and Coptic types of comb found at Karanis and elsewhere.
